International Congress on Aesthetic Medicine named after Eugeny Laputin

International Congress on Aesthetic medicine named after Evgeny Laputin is the main annual scientific event organized by KOSMETIK international Company and Russian Aesthetic Medicine Society takes place in the framework of the KOSMETIK EXPO exhibition. It is attended by more than a thousand of specialists: cosmetologists, dermatologists, aesthetic medicine doctors, plastic surgeons, marketologists, and beauty salon managers.
Representatives of the leading Russian scientific institutions and profile companies and specialists from CIS and Baltic countries, Europe, Americas, and Asia report on their achievements among other Congress participants.
The language of the Congress is Russian. Foreign participants report mostly in English or their native languages with translation into Russian. Translation of the Congress into English or other languages is not provided.
Venue of the Congress is Conference centre of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation (Moscow, Il'inka Str., 6).

Congress features the following Sections:

1. Cosmetology and aesthetic medicine
2. International course on dermoscopy
3. Permanent make-up
   

Cosmetology and aesthetic medicine section traditionally hosts session devoted to the current topics of aesthetic medicine: dermatocosmetology, anti-aging and regenerative medicine, trichology, laser, photo, plasma, and radio technologies in aesthetic medicine, diagnostics and treatment of skin tumours, plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery. The leading Russian and foreign specialists participate in the events. During the last 9 years the congress was honoured by the participation of dr., prof. O.S. Panova, Moscow; acad. RAS, dr., prof. A.A. Kubanova, Moscow; dr., prof. O.Yu. Aleksandrova, Moscow; cand. sci. A.A. Martynov, Moscow; dr., prof., RAS corr. member S.E. Severin, Moscow; cand. sci. F.M. Meng, Irkutsk; cand. sci. I.V. Peskova, Novosibirsk; dr. Torsten Walker, Germany; Andrzej Ignaciuk, Poland; dr. Riekie Smit, Republic of South Africa; dr. Vincenzo Eduardo Geraci, Italy, etc.

People belonging to the white race now suffer from the skin melanoma much more often than recently. Skin melanoma is a very aggressive malignant skin tumour. Each year in Europe one melanoma case is registered for each 7-10 thousands people. Timely diagnostics is vital for the survival rate of the patients. All this makes dermoscopy very important as a method of early melanoma diagnostics. So, the organizers decided to set up an educational course on dermoscopy along with the traditional congress session - Diagnostics and Treatment of Skin Tumours for the leading Russian and foreign specialists may exchange their achievements in this sphere. The course takes place under support of International Dermoscopy Society (IDS).
First International course on dermoscopy was held in 2008 by dr. Minas Stelios, prof. of skin and venereal diseases in the Department of Health of Cyprus Republic, IDS corresponding member, Limassol.
During the last four years this sphere events were honoured by the presence of dr. Giuseppe Argenziano, prof. Dermatology unit of Second University of Naples, IDS president, Italy; dr. Soyer H. Peter, prof. Dermatology unit of Queensland University, Australia; аacad. RAMS, dr. prof. A.A. Kubanova, Moscow, dr., prof. V.G. Akimov, Moscow, etc.

Permanent make-up became a well known and quite popular in Russia over 15 years ago. Today it became not just an exotic and risky procedure but an ordinary and usual part of a modern person’s image. Its opportunities are ample, and the results more elegant and natural due to of many specialists long work that gathered the cherished information, honed the technologies, compared and chose the best of foreign colleagues’ achievements. To develop the permanent make-up in Russia and attract the foreign specialists in 2007 the organizing committee set up a Conference on the permanent make-up in the framework of the congress. The event hosts both the traditional lections and practical demonstration of different technologies. The conference is held under support of the Society of Aesthetic Dermopigmentation Specialists.

Wellness & Spa Forum
Since 2009 one of the sections of International Congress on Aesthetic Medicine named after Eugeny Laputin was devoted to the spa&wellness topics. Now the different event is organized - WELLNESS & SPA FORUM, the international forum for the spa&wellness specialists. The forum takes place during the KOSMETIK EXPO exhibition. The program of the event offers the visitors scientific and practical conferences, panel discussions, and a one-day tour to the best Moscow spa objects.
